El Camino is one of my go-to restaurant in Ottawa and they probably make the best damn tacos in the city. You really can’t go wrong here. Most tacos are a bit pricey but at El Camino I feel like it’s totally worth it since you actually get a lot of food and it’s of course delicious. Whether I go for lunch and grab one or two tacos, or for dinner with some chips and salsa, drinks and churros for dessert I always have a great meal. They have two locations, one on Elgin that is open for dinner with a takeout window at lunch and then one in the Byward Market for lunch and dinner. In the summertime they also have a great patio in the Market. They have veggie options including a Japanese eggplant and a cauliflower taco as well as many great meaty options. If tacos aren’t your thing then El Camino also has some other options, although I’ve only had the tacos.
