Well it’s winter and we’ve probably got at least another month and a half of snowy, cold weather here in Ottawa so I thought I’d look back on some of my travel photos from somewhere warm. While setting up my new photography shop on Darkroom I came across all my saguaro cactus photographs from a sunset hike in Arizona. So to launch my new Darkroom photography shop and to imagine I’m somewhere warm I’m sharing the photos here that you can now buy prints of! Please enjoy!
If you’ve seen my Ultimate Venice Travel Guide then you’ll know that I absolutely LOVE Venice! I’ve spent a fair but of time there and I’d go back in a heartbeat. My travel guide was very long with lots of info so I tried to keep the photos to a minimum. But I have so many that I want to share still so this is a little photo diary of my memories of Venice at sunrise and sunset, two of the most peaceful and beautiful times of day in the city.
Visiting Grand Canyon National Park was truly incredible and it’s an experience that I’ll remember for the rest of my life. It was like nothing else I had ever seen or experienced. If you’ve read any of my other Arizona travel guides then you know that my primary reason for visiting the state was to hike the Grand Canyon. I’m going to get into the specifics of the hike in another post and for this little Grand Canyon guide I’m going to focus on the South Rim area at the top of the Grand Canyon.

Continuing our journey through Spain we have arrived at Seville, the capital of the Andalusian region. Seville is known for its beautiful ceramic tiles and delicious food, which we found plenty of!
Let’s talk about Córdoba, it’s amazing! During our two week Spanish road trip we spend a day and a half in this beautiful little city in southern Spain in the Andalusian region. This city really had everything I love, amazing historic sites and beautiful architecture, good fresh food and colourful little streets filled with flowers.
With this blog I want to share some of my past travel experiences. I’ll be sharing mostly photographs but maybe also some tips and recommendations. First up is Barcelona, which was the first destination for our Spanish road trip.
